After graduating from Easton High School in 1951, Newnam went to Eckels College of Mortuary Science in Philadelphia to receive his mortuary education. Following graduation, he returned to Easton for a brief time before enlisting in the U.S. Of Easton, Maryland, died Tuesday, October 11, 2022, surrounded by family.
